5th & 6th Classes are carrying out their Swimming Lessons this term. They are doing these lessons in Tallaght Leisure Centre.
3rd and 4th Classes in St Mary’s have resumed Violin Classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The boys and girls are really enjoying the lessons with Matt.

The school will be closed on Thursday 2nd, Friday 3rd, Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th of June. The school will also be closed on Tuesday 21st of June to facilitate staff training for the new Primary Language Curriculum in English and Irish.
The school photographer will visit the school on Wednesday 6th April. Every child will have their photograph taken, the photographer will send proofs of each photograph home for you to view. You can then decide whether you want to buy the photograph or not. There is NO obligation to buy.
Mr Kearns and Mr Mc Sweeney are starting Hurling training on Mondays, after school. These sessions will start on Monday 25th January and will be from 2:40 -3:40. The boys and girls in 6th Class had a fantastic time on ‘Mr Mc Donnell’s Nature Walk’. They trekked up through the forest, ate a few hundred sausages and played in the stream. They were exhausted on the way back down.
All of the teachers are very busy this evening getting the hall ready for International Day tomorrow. Everyone is looking forward to welcoming the parents/visitors from 9am – 10am, and all of the boys and girls are looking forward to ‘visiting’ the different countries throughout the day.
