Ms. Woods’ 5th class had a fun filled day on Friday the 25th of October. Well done to all the children for the fantastic effort they put into their costumes.

Ms. O’Brien’s 5th class have been studying the life and work of Vincent Van Gogh.
We explored how the artist used brush strokes to create movement in his paintings.
We applied this skill when creating our own impressions of the famous painting ‘Starry Night’.
This month Ms. Hamilton’s fifth class looked at the work of Jackson Pollock, an abstract artist who invented drip painting. The class then created their own drip paintings on card.
