The boys and girls in Mr Davis 2nd Class C have started trying Hurling. We learned about the different parts of the Hurl: The Bas, The Toe, The Heel and The Handle.
We had great fun learning to balancing beanbags on the end of the hurl and trying to move from one side of the yard to the other.
We hope to learn how to strike the ball or ‘sliotar’ on the ground and practice moving the sliotar from the hurl to our hand.
