The Athletics Team have been busy competing in competitions over the last week.
The Cross Country Finals took place last week. This was the final event of 4 events that have taken place over the last few months. St. Marys were very competitive on the day with some children taking 1st and 2nd place in there race.
Well done to all the children for participating in the Cross Country events, medals well deserved!
This week we had children competing in the Cumann na mBunscoil, Santry Athletics, field events. A variety of events took place, long jump, shot put, hurdles, long distance and the Race of Champions. Another wonderful day out. The children showed courage and determination taking part in such a large event.
The Athletics Teachers are very proud of the team and hope to see them all back again next year.
