We have had a big responsibility in 1st Class B as we planted and cared for our basil plants.
We had so much fun planting the basil, using trowels, plant pots and compost before adding our basil seeds.
We discussed what our plants would need to grow and made sure that we kept them in a bright place on the windowsill, and kept them growing with plenty of water.
After they were planted, we practised our procedural writing and wrote instructions on how to plant basil.
The plants grew really well in our sunny windowsill and we were so excited to bring them home.
