It was a beautiful day on Friday, so the boys and girls from Ms Halford’s, Ms Howard’s and Ms McInerney’s class headed out to the playground with some jumbo chalks to have some fun in the sun! Take a look at the Junior Infants in action!
Over the Easter holidays new playground markings were organised by our staff fundraising committee, the children were really excited to begin using the games and trails marked out all around the play spaces. These are also used to support lessons and sensory break s throughout the school day.
Ms. Eastment’s class enjoyed creating and painting Easter baskets. The children used a four leaf clover as the shape template for the base of the basket. The children had great fun coding on the iPads with Ms Kelly this week. The class got to develop code for a minecraft game. Everyone had tremendous fun and learned lots about coding. Huge thanks to Ms Kelly for introducing this to the children who really enjoyed it!
