A huge well done to the 28 students who proudly represented our school at the Athletics Competition in Morton Stadium, Santry. Our athletes competed across a wide range of events including sprints, relays, the 600m race, long jump, high jump, and shot put, showing fantastic determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the day.

We are especially delighted to celebrate Maria Ciomek, who earned a fantastic bronze medal in Shot Put, a brilliant achievement after a strong performance.

In the relay events, Zarah, Summer, Abigail and Cadhla delivered an outstanding performance in the U14 Relay Final, finishing in a closely contested joint 3rd/4th place. The U14 boys relay team also put in a strong performance, competing brilliantly against tough opposition. Our U12 relay teams performed exceptionally well too, finishing third in their heats and narrowly missing out on a place in the final.

In the field events, Ethan delivered an excellent performance in the Long Jump, finishing an impressive 5th overall out of 20 competitors, while Holly also represented the school strongly with a determined effort. Alex achieved a top 10 finish in Shot Put, showing great skill and focus.

Our High Jumpers, Rohan and Camden, showed tremendous determination and effort throughout their event, giving it their all in a highly competitive field.

In the 600m race, Aarav demonstrated great resilience with a strong finish in a very competitive race, while Arabella ran brilliantly and held 5th position until the final 100 metres, showing excellent determination right to the finish line.

We are incredibly proud of all 28 students for their effort, enthusiasm, and excellent representation of our school. Their teamwork, perseverance, and positive attitude made it a fantastic day of athletics and one to remember!
