It was very exciting here last week as five new sensory rooms were installed in our Lighthouse. We are so lucky to have these rooms and the children were delighted with them. The rooms will be used to support children’s sensory needs across the school. The rooms are a great addition to the fantastic facilities already here in St Mary’s Lighthouse (indoor swing room, outdoor playgrounds with playhouses, climbing wall, swing, slides etc), activity hall with trampoline and OT equipment and the ball pool! Here is a video showing you the rooms and the children’s delight! Huge thanks to our Parent Association for all the fundraising activities which have gone towards the purchase of these rooms and to the entire parent body for supporting our efforts to fundraise also.
