Senior Infants

Senior Infants went to Stonebrook Pet Farm last Thursday, the 30th of May, for their school tour. The classes left he school at 9am ready for a great day out.

They were all prepared with their wellies and rain coats.

First the children meet some very interesting farm animals. They met lots of hens, ducks and geese. They saw some pigs, calves, goats, deer, donkeys and lambs. They even got to feed some of them!

The children held some very interesting smaller animals too. They held hamsters, rabbits, Guinea pigs and even a giant African snail.

After that the children played in the very cool farm playground.

The tractor ride through the fields at the end of the day was a favourite for lots of the children.

What a great day!
